Instagram, Tinder, Omegle, Facebook, Snapchat, Snap Save, Kik, Twitter, Tumblr, Meerkat, familiar with these? They are a few of the social media platforms available to our students. Please join Charlotte Harvey (social media immigrant and Harley Psychologist) and Aliza Leit (social media native and expert, student at the Harley School) to learn and discuss current trends in social media. The more you know and understand the better able you will be to help your students navigate the important and sometimes dangerous landscape of social media. Resources will be available that will include usage guidelines and strategies across age levels as well as a list of books and websites on this topic.
